Homicide rates are at an all time high, specifically in suburban and rural communities across the nation. Patrol Officer's in smaller metropolitan communities are encountering, armed robberies with injuries, kidnappings, child abductions and homicides.
Investigators arriving on the scene frequently encounter crime scenes that are either not completely sealed off or contaminated, witnesses released, incomplete information gathered. As a result suspects may remain at large, reducing arrest or possible convictions and may never be identified by investigators.
This course is taught by a Homicide Investigator who worked with a regional Major Case Homicide Unit and successfully obtained numerous confessions from murder suspects. This is a must for every law enforcement officer who responds to the call when it "hits the fan."
