At GATE America it is our belief that we should constantly re-evaluate the program through research, surveys as well as through independent research to ensure that we are delivering the very best program for America's youth.

Our goal is to continually identify the best methods, practices and directions to utilize to impact America’s youth away from drugs, gangs and violent behavior.  In this effort we evaluate, our instructors, our lesson plans and the participants our programs.

Our research has revealed that through this method and the proper implementation of the program that the some of the outcomes listed below will continue to occur.

After one year implementation of the program

  • 25% reduction in property crimes
  • 11% reduction in victimization over a previous 4 year period.
  • 17% reduction of alcohol use from grade 7 to grade 8.
  • 6% reduction in risk taking behavior.
  • 5% increase in associating with peers who are involved in pro-social activities.

Results after a four year program presentation included

  • 9% reduction in juvenile shoplifting
  • 12% reduction of alcohol use through 9th grade
  • 9% reduction of gang related crimes through 9th grade.

As the final results of our 10 year study come to a close we will release the full report. For now please look at the preliminary report. Thank you.
